Mountain Life Properties is pleased to announce its contribution of a stunning tree to the Cashiers Festival of Trees. Decorated by our very own Carrie Sheehan, the tree features wood-engraved ornaments of cute squirrels, bears, deer, pinecones, and other beautiful pieces – all made right in our office.
The Cashiers Festival of Trees is a fantastic family-friendly event that takes place during Thanksgiving weekend. The festival showcases decorated trees, wreaths, gift baskets, holiday shopping, children's crafts, story time, entertaining performances, and even a pop-up Build-A-Bear Workshop®. It's a unique experience that brings families, friends, non-profits, businesses, and individuals together to celebrate the holiday season through one-of-a-kind shopping and programming for all ages.
This year's (2023) event will be held at the Summit Center from 10 AM to 5 PM on Friday, November 24th and Saturday, November 25th, 2023. While the primary focus of the event is to raise funds for the school, the SCS Foundation also aims to spread the holiday spirit of giving. When a fellow non-profit organization decorates a tree or wreath, 80% of the item's sale goes back to the participating non-profit, creating a collaborative initiative to benefit our fellow charities and their worthy causes.
At Mountain Life Properties, supporting the entire community is of utmost importance. We are thrilled to have contributed to this wonderful event and encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the festivities!
Mountain Life Properties is thrilled to announce that we participated in the annual Porchfest event! This year's (2023) festival was a huge success, with 45 talented musicians from every genre performing at 14 hosting venues in downtown Highlands, NC. Our team had a fantastic time hosting three incredible singers at our property, providing an intimate setting for their performances.
The day was filled with beautiful music, great conversations, and plenty of opportunities to meet new people in the community. We even passed out some cool Mountain Life Properties shirts and pens to show our appreciation for everyone who stopped by. And to top it all off, we had complimentary wine for our guests to enjoy. It was truly an inclusive and free community event that we were proud to be a part of.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Porchfest with us. We can't wait to do it again next year and continue supporting the amazing local talent in our area.

Our donations have helped support TL&LC's after-school programs, as well as the construction of their new location. We are thrilled to be able to contribute to an organization that provides educational and enrichment opportunities free of charge for all ages.
