About Denise Boothby

When my children left home, I began to reimagine my life. Knowing my love of small towns, winding roads, the blissful sound of water flowing down a stream and mountain views; I was led to discover the magical place I had dreamed of, in Highlands, and in its people. The small-town charm takes me back to a simpler time.

Prior to my Highlands discovery, I was a business owner, in my hometown of Nashville, TN, which I successfully sold after 18 years. My passion for real estate stemmed from my family of home builders and renovators. I continued this tradition by investing in rental properties and renovating and restoring homes to sell. I loved preserving a legacy in the homes where people have made lifelong memories. There is something special about bettering a place you know future generations will continue to flourish and create memories of their own.

Drawing on my extensive experience in business, I have now guided clients for more than 20 years as a Realtor. Home buying can be an emotional and psychological experience and that emotion can impact your decisions and experience. I value the time I am able to consult with clients, preparing expectations and educating on how to best prepare their home for the market which can help them better realize their goals and achieve their best return on the investment. In business I understand the importance discretion, and good negotiations, all while being attentive to your individual needs and interest.

I also find pleasure in hiking the forever changing trails of our beautiful mountains, with my Border Collie Zeus, participating in church, and community activities. My husband and I can often be found enjoying the fine Dining in Highlands & Cashiers, the theatre, and musical events. Of course, any time we have with our children and grandchildren in TN are cherished moments.
